Traditional worship - Sundays, 9:45 a.m.
"The Gathering" - Open and affirming, progressive and contemporary worship, typically the 4th Sunday of each month, 5 p.m. We meet in the fellowship hall.

Church Description

We are a small, informal congregation, just under 100 folks. We strive to be faithful in following Jesus' commandment to "love one another." Both worship service opportunities include communion -- all who hunger for the grace of God are welcome to receive. Various outreach projects include collecting food for and volunteering at a local food pantry; a knitting and crochet group who produce hats for the local hospital to provide for newborns, sweaters for the Guideposts project and prayer shawls for those in challenging times. Children usually attend the first part of worship, and after a children's time, they move to Sunday School classes where they are enjoying lessons from "A Joyful Path" -- a new curriculum form The Center for Progressive Christianity. We are excited about our new worship opportunity, "The Gathering." Our prayer is that you will find here a safe place to worship and to seek meaning for your life. There will be no judgment, just open arms, a thoughtful message, meaningful music and a community growing and learning together what it means to live in -- and live out -- God's love and grace.
