Two sessions available online October 23-24

The 2020 Perry Gresham Lectures, the eleventh in a series dating back to 2010, will be held on October 23 and 24 on Zoom. Our keynoter this year is Dr. Jose F. Morales Torres, Assistant Professor of Latinx Studies and Religion at Chicago Theological Seminary.

The topic is Christian Faith and Religious Pluralism. The Friday session runs from 9:30 to noon on Zoom and is geared to clergy and leadership, the crux of the topic is expressed:
“Inter-religious understanding and co-operation is one of the great theological questions posed to the Church today indeed, posed to all religions. Put succinctly, the theological question before us is: How do we as Christians make sense of God’s particular revelation in Jesus Christ in light of the plurality of religious beliefs and practices?”

The Saturday session runs from 10 to noon, with the theme How My Non-Christian Friends Made Me a Better Christian: Some Personal Stories and Theological Musings.
